Judi Carlile, at the age of 73 passed away on December 3, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Judi was born in Inglewood, CA on October 17, 1948 and spent her early years in Inglewood, CA, Bishop, CA, Alaska, Arizona, finally settling in Tahoe City, CA with her mom and step dad, Carson and Margaret Birmingham. Judi's dad, Fred Sayre, along with his wife, Dorothy, resided in Tucson. He was a retired Air Force high ranking officer who flew in WWII. Judi and Jack loved spending time with them whenever they had the opportunity. Judi graduated gelar dokter umum from High School while living in Tahoe City, attended the University of Nevada Reno and graduated in1971 with an education degree. Judi met the love of her life and soul mate, Jack Carlile, that same year and after a whirlwind courtship of less than 90 days was married in June, 1971 right after graduating from college. Judi would later go on to obtain her Masters Degree in Education plus 32 credits towards her PhD. She taught at various elementary schools throughout her teaching career until her retirement in 2012 and then continued to substitute teach as her schedule allowed.
